Economic Development Commission

The Wallingford Economic Development Commission (EDC) met on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Town Hall, Room 315. Members approved the February 2, 2026 meeting minutes and January 2026 expenditure reports via the consent agenda.

Economic Development Specialist Don Crouch reported on three items coming before the Planning and Zoning Commission: a proposed text amendment to Sections 1.4 and 6.34 and the addition of Section 4.16.H for cannabis regulations (File #502-26); a special permit application for adaptive reuse and multi-family units at 386 Williams Road (File #401-26); and a special permit for a solar energy system.

Board of Health

The Wallingford Board of Health met on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in Town Hall, Room 315. Members approved the December 3, 2025 meeting minutes. Director Vanessa Bautista, reporting through Anne Bernick, delivered an update on health statistics and infectious disease trends.

Historic Properties Commission

The Wallingford Historic Properties Commission holds its annual meeting tonight, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

Quinnipiac River Linear Trail Committee

The Quinnipiac River Linear Trail committee meets tonight, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

Compost Center Reopening

The town's Compost Center at 100 John Street will reopen Monday, March 16, 2026. March hours are Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with last gate entry at 3:45 PM.
