Bus Rapid Transit Meeting Kicks Off Week of Public Input

Hamden residents can weigh in on the Bus Rapid Transit project during a public engagement session on February 18, 2026. The meeting will cover project updates and gather community feedback on the BRT’s development.

Zoning Appeals Set for February 19

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7:00 PM on February 19, 2026, in Conference Room 27 on the third floor of the Government Center at 2751 Whitney Avenue. The agenda includes zoning appeals and variance requests.

Planning & Zoning Commission Meets Hybrid on February 24

At 7:00 PM on February 24, 2026, the Planning & Zoning Commission holds its regular meeting in the Legislative Council Chambers at 2372 Whitney Avenue, Memorial Town Hall. The session will also be available via Zoom. Discussions will focus on land use, development proposals, and zoning regulations.

Citation Appeals Scheduled for February 25

Property owners can contest municipal citations at a hearing starting at 9:00 AM on February 25, 2026. The session takes place in the Dixwell Avenue Lower Level Conference Room.

CDBG Plan and Infrastructure Projects Up for Review

Residents will also have opportunities to comment on the CDBG Annual Action Plan and CAPER. Updates are expected on the Newhall Foundations Repair and Former Middle School Demolition project.
