Plan of Conservation Hearing Set for February 9

Cheshire residents can weigh in on the town’s future during a public hearing on the Plan of Conservation and Development, scheduled for February 9, 2026. The Planning and Zoning Commission will lead the session, a key step in shaping land use and growth policies.

Additional Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are set for February 23 and March 9, 2026, both at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 84 South Main Street. The February 23 meeting includes a public hearing.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on March 2, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the same location. The Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission convenes on February 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
