The Branford Board of Education was scheduled to meet Wednesday, September 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Walsh Intermediate School’s Collaboration & Innovation Center, Room 112, 185 Damascus Road. The meeting was scheduled to be livestreamed.

Branford Agenda Items

The agenda included presentations on an e-bikes grant and a superintendent-related matter. It also listed discussion and possible action on:

• first readings of policies covering kindergarten eligibility and grade placement, eligibility to attend Branford Public Schools, and purchasing;
• whether to name the press box identified in the agenda as the BHS Press Box; and
• the senior graduation date.

Committee Reports and Executive Session

The agenda also included reports from the Teaching & Learning Committee, Personnel & Finance Committee, Policy and Board Governance Committee, and Communication Committee, along with a master facilities update. An executive session to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation was listed before adjournment.
